Optimal Dispatching Strategy of Active Distribution Network for Promoting Local Consumption of Renewable Energy

Large-scale renewable energy sources (RESs) have been integrated into the active distribution network (ADN). For promoting local consumption of RESs within ADN, an optimal dispatching strategy was proposed with two-stage hierarchical management framework. On spatial boundary, a two-layer framework designed optimization layer and global layer. The for power flow in branch feeder objective functions minimizing operation costs maximizing RESs. main loss voltage deviation nodes. time scale, models were established, including day-ahead intra-day models. identified status controllable units, then updated ultra-short-term forecast results. A risk indicator introduced to quantify uncertainty RES, non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm elite adopted solve multi-objective nonlinear programming problem. An actual project northern China used as testing system. results case studies verify that can effectively realize maximum support economic ADN.
